This utility can be used to apply chi square test for trends, to test whether there is a linear relationship (trend) in the association.

Total Number of levels (groups) in your study. (No. of rows. Should be > = 3.)
Number of columns in your table (c)
Number of possible outcomes. As it is dichotomous, its value is always equal to 2.
