This utility can be used to calculate required sample size when your aim is to determine whether the row and column marginal frequencies with matched pairs of subjects, are equal(that is, whether there is "marginal homogeneity").

Formula used and other details
Proportion of pairs (amongst all pairs) with Condition 1 = +ve AND Condition 2 = -ve. [Out of 100] It is the expected proportion of pairs in your study with discordant results: +ve for first condition and -ve for second condtion.
Proportion of pairs (amongst all pairs) with Condition 1 = -ve AND Condition 2 = +ve. [Out of 100] It is the expected proportion of pairs in your study with discordant results: -ve for first condition and +ve for second condtion.
Confidence Level % In percentage. Commonly used values are 95, 99 and 90. Should be between 0.01 to 99.99.
Power ( 1 - β) In Percentage. Should be between 0.001 to 99.999. Common values are 80 % and 90 %
